Dead man endorses City Council member

March 29, 2009

Val Jackson of Wichita, Kansas recently endorsed City Council member Lavonta Williams after dying in 2002.  Jackson, the former owner of a Mortuary, was a prominent member in the Wichita business community.   An elementary school was named after him in 2003.

James Barfield, Lavonta Williams’ opponent in the race, was shocked and appalled by the necromancy on the other side of the aisle.

If I know anything about zombies, it’s that they are easily convinced.  After experiencing the preliminary stages of rigor mortis, brain tissue is severely depleted.  Cognitive thought degenerates, leaving the mind in a zombie-see, zombie-do state.  It was only a matter of time before Williams or Barfield taught poor Val Jackson to do their bidding.
